Angola Cables launches Vods2Africa platform

Angola Cables, the Angolan telecommunications multinational, launched Vods2Africa (video on demand), a video hosting, management and transmission platform designed for easy sharing with payment in kwanzas, in Luanda on Tuesday 14th.

With this new platform, which also offers services for e-commerce e streaming video content that used to be stored all over the world "will now be stored and accessed locally, in an easier, faster, safer and more economical process".

Angola Cables' content management specialist, Walter Fernandes, explained that Vods2Africa is a server recommended for audiovisual producers, media agencies, content providers and TV stations, Vlogers and small producers.

For his part, Ângelo Gama, CEO of Angola Cables, explains that the platform arose from the need to have more content produced and stored in Angola.
