JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Accounting and Finance Technician

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carrying out all accounting activities in accordance with current GAAP standards and company principles, local legislation and international best practice;
Preparation and analysis of financial statements and reporting;
Ensure that all information is correct, complete and complies with IFRS/IAS standards
Carry out monthly bank and current account reconciliations;
Carry out activities to ensure the correct allocation of costs and income;
Regulatory reporting and auditing: Prepare regulatory reports as required by local and international authorities, collaborate with auditors during annual audits to provide information and clarifications;
Closing the monthly and annual individual accounts;
Closing consolidated accounts;
Ensuring the review of tax returns which, due to their level of materiality or complexity, require the validation of their contents in order to guarantee compliance with tax obligations.
Elaborar relatórios e apresentar propostas de forma a providenciar o suporte necessário para a tomada de decisões por parte do superior hierarquico;
Organising, classifying and processing documents and the company's accounting movements;
Collecting the data needed to draw up periodic reports;
Carry out other tasks compatible with the requirements of the job in accordance with hierarchical guidelines, standards and defined procedures.

Requirements Profile

Academic background

Degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance.

Experience

Relevant experience of over 2 years.

Registration with the Angolan Association of Accountants and Accountancy Experts
